Visit to the Kyoto International Manga Museum [12月 03,2013 ]

On November 19, the students of the Practical Japanese Course visited the Kyoto International Manga Museum. Ms. Jessica Sugimoto, the researcher belonging to the museum, led us for the museum tour, giving detailed explanations about the facilities and the exhibitions in it. On the way of the tour we also saw ‘Kamishibai’ performance (that is, telling a story with picture cards) in the room for its exclusive use.
Students seemed to be impressed by the excellent facilities of the museum, and to recognize once more that Manga had great influences on the Japanese society.
