The second field trip for the fall semester (Asuka Village) [3月 30,2016 ]
The Maple students went on their second field trip for the Program’s fall semester on January 26, 2016.
They made a trip to Asuka Village in Nara Prefecture and divided up into three groups in order to experience Japanese culture and art: the art of dyeing using plants, transcribing a sutra, and ancient glass bead making. Afterwards, they visited the Ishibutai Kofun (stone tumulus). Each experience proved to be a valuable one for our Maple students.
