Field Trip to Kompira kabuki theater [4月 22,2016 ]

On April 15 and 16, we made a field trip to Kagawa prefecture for seeing Japanese traditional theater performances.

The first day, we went to Ritsurin-koen garden which is the traditional daimyo garden and after that, saw Kabuki plays in the Kanamaru-za theater which is the oldest Kabuki theater in existence in Japan.

The second day, we went to Kompira shrine and after that, saw Ningyo-joruri (puppet show)  in the Awaji ningyo-za theater at Awaji-shima island.
