Master’s Program and Doctoral Program in Japanese Studies for International Students
The purpose of the Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Japanese Studies for International Students are to nurture the excellent researchers in the field of Japanese Studies. The program offers courses in such various fields as Japanese Buddhism, Japanese Economics, Japanese Intellectual History, Japanese History, as well as Japanese Literature, p>Japanese Language Pedagogy and Japanese Linguistics.

As these programs have been adopted as one of the International Priority Graduate Programs (PGP) provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), some of the students in these programs are granted scholarship by MEXT.
