J Program Field Trip to Matsuyama [3月 27,2013 ]

On February 21 and 22, we made a field trip to Matsuyama city of Ehime prefecture located in Shikoku island. We went there directly this year in order that we could have as much time as possible to see around in the city. At Matsuyama students first saw the Dogo-onsen-honkan (Dogo hot spring main public bath) and then visited various places they chose by their own.
Next day we visited the Matsuyama castle. We had to ride on a chairlift to go there, as the castle is on a hill. To some students it was the first time experience of riding on a chairlift. In the keep tower of the castle there was a room where visitors could put on replica armors and helmets freely and several students tried it there.
