2-Day Study Tour (Okayama) [11月 24,2017 ]
The 73 Maple Program students went on a 2-day tour to Okayama Prefecture on November 21-22, 2017. They visited two different castles (Okayama Castle and Bitchu Matsuyama Castle) to compare the Japanese castles based on the knowledge they gained from the lecture. They also visited Former Shizutani School and Takahashi City.
They deepen their understanding of Japanese culture through activities outside the classroom, such as experiencing Onsen (Hot springs), and Yukata (Japanese traditional clothing).
6 teaching assistants, who are graduate students majoring in studies in Japanese language and culture at Osaka University, accompanied the Maple Students on the trip as learning advisors.
