a study tour to Tokushima (November 21-22, 2018) [12月 04,2018 ]
The Maple Program students went on a two-day trip to Tokushima Prefecture in Shikoku Island from November 21-22, 2018, as a part of their special seminar in Japanese Language and Culture.
On the first day, the Maple Students visited Wakimachi to enjoy walking along the old streets. After that, they experienced dying a coaster with indigo plants, and they lodged at a hotel named Kairakuen.
On the second day, they walked across the suspension bridge named Kazura Bridge which is made from plants. Then they stopped at Naruto Park and enjoyed watching an eddying current.
They also enjoyed experiencing “onsen” (a hot spring) and “yukata” (Japanese traditional clothing), which must have helped their better understanding of Japanese culture.
