Study Tour (Japanese History) [11月 13,2014 ]

In their regular class, the Edo era is the topic of the on-going lecture.
So this time our destination was Jinai machi( a town within the Temple ) in Tondabayashi, and Kongou Temple of Shingon esoteric Buddhism, both of which are located in Osaka prefecture.
In the temple the students enjoyed a beautiful traditional Japanese garden and some Buddhist treasures.
They also had a chance to look into the structure of the house which used to be owned by a rich merchant in the Edo era.
